Week #83 - 'Fall Flowers'

Hello shabby friends and welcome to another fun week of inspiration and creativity here in the Tea Room!  This week Sheri is our fabby shabby host and she has chosen the theme of 'Fall Flowers' along with this beautiful photo for inspiration ...

... and Sheri asks that you create a card or project inspired by the COLORS from the photo and USE FLOWERS!  You'll get 'bonus points' if you include HANDMADE FLOWERS ... but if you can't make a handmade flower, we'd still love to see all your fall-inspired flowers -- stamped, colored, digital, patterned paper, manufactured ... just make sure you include LOTS OF FLOWERS!!!

Note: Because we are sponsored weekly by wonderful businesses who have graciously donated products and in the interest of fairness to all participants, any entries that do not follow our simple challenge rules will remain in the gallery but will not be eligible for the weekly prizes. Thanks for your understanding and participation!

I am pleased to introduce you all to this week's Guest Designer, Inger Harding - Simply Inger!  Inger earned this Guest Designer spot for her win in the Tea Room during the Week #73 challenge - 'Mix & Match'.

And some more beautiful inspiration from our October Special MONTH-LONG Guest Designer ...
Melissa Phillips, Lily Bean's PaperieIt's always such a treat when Melissa stops by for a sweet visit ... her shabby creations are mini masterpieces created with handmade tending loving care!!!

Do you want to be the next Month-Long Guest Designer with the Shabby Girls?  It's as simple as participating in our weekly challenges and WOW-ing us with your projects!  The Shabby Girls might be calling on YOU to be the next Month-Long Guest Designer!!!

The Shabby Girls are pleased to welcome back our sponsor - Digi My World!

Digi My World opened its doors in April 2011. It was created by me, Annie Kelly, a self taught artist, crafter and web designer. I has always dabbled in doodling and creating from even an early age. Whatever the craft, I have tried it. From drawing, painting, sewing, doll & pattern making, I have tried it all. Mind you, not successful at it all, but I sure did try it all!

Clipart has taken on a whole new art form in recent years. The world of paper crafts have brought line art to a whole new level - being dubbed "digital stamps". It is with all these new developments that Digi My World was created.

I am a stay at home mom to 2 boys. My oldest son is ADD and my youngest is autistic. It is because of my youngest son that I was not able to initially go back into the work force. I have been selling and working online since 2001, owning and creating for the web. If it wasn't for the wonderful connection of the internet, I am not sure where I would be today.

All of my digital stamps and clip art are my own creations. I get inspired by the most random and silly things. Long trips in the car can give me 7 -10 new mini collection ideas. It is a wondrous feeling being inspired by the simple things in life! I hope you enjoyed visiting with me today -- and if you are in need of some adorable and original images, please make sure to visit Digi My World. I hope it brings a smile to your face!

A special thanks for Debbie and the Shabby Tea Room for allowing me this opportunity to share my creations.
Annie

Please link your creations below by Sunday, October 16th to play along. Winner and Tea Time Terrific Top Three will be announced Monday, October 17th. We will have an all-new challenge for you to play along with on the 17th as well, so please come back and visit with us again for another chance to win!

Woohoo, awesome challenge. I thought I was done making fall flowers, but you reeled me in on this one. How could I not play along? My entry contains a hand-made crinoline flower. Loved the DT inspiration and the photo is gorgeous! Thanks for a great challenge.
